Il commento è un po’ più lungo della puntata: grazie alla tecnologia dvd “branching” i commentatori fermano l’episodio e passano al dietro le quinte continuando a commentare anche il making of. * “Walkabout”: commento dell’attore Terry O’Quinn (Locke), dello sceneggiatore David Fury e del regista Jack Bender. * Chi possiede un lettore DVD per PC potrà seguire gli episodi con lo script accanto: cliccando su una qualsiasi delle battute si accederà direttamente alla scena. * Versione Widescreen degli episodi “Pilot”, “Tabula Rasa” e “Walkabout.” * Numerosi trailer tra cui: trailer del dvd di lost e il trailer della seconda stagione. Abrams abbia creato Lost. * “Designing a Disaster” (7:59): Un documentario dettagliato che descrive, tra le tante curiosità, come siano riusciti a trasportare parte della carlinga dell’aereo dal deserto del Mojave alla spiaggia sull’isola di Oahu e poi alla giungla, sempre sulla stessa isola, tutto in sei settimane. * “Before They Were Lost” (22:55): Un documentario che mostra l’inusuale processo di formazione del cast di Lost; la creazione ed il perfezionamento dei personaggi tagliati appositamente sugli attori scelti dalla produzione. Hurley, Sayid, Sun e Jin erano ad esempio non menzionati nel plot originale acquistato dalla ABC. Nella prima stesura del progetto doveva essere Michael Keaton ad interpretare il ruolo di Jack e doveva essere Kate ad emergere quale leader dei sopravvissuti. * “Audition Tapes” (27:34): Le audizioni di 13 dei 14 interpreti regolari (Terry O’Quinn, Locke in Lost, aveva già lavorato ampiamente con Abrams nella serie Alias). Nel video vedremo Yunjin Kim (Sun) leggere le battute per il ruolo di Kate e Matthew Fox (Jack), Dominic Monaghan (Charlie) e anche Jorge Garcia (Hurley) interpretare il ruolo di Sawyer. * “Welcome To Oahu: The Making of the Pilot” (33:20): Il dietro le quinte di alcune delle scene più complesse. Dalla scena dell’incidente aereo, al mostro in mezzo alla foresta, dall’orso polare all’uomo che viene risucchiato nel motore, solo per citarne alcune. * “The Art of Matthew Fox” (6:07): Matthew Fox parla dei servizi fotografici sul set di Lost. * “Lost@Comicon” (1:50): uno sguardo a quanto la serie fosse attesa e alle anticipazioni che esistavano mesi prima della messa in onda del pilot, grazie soprattutto ad Internet. “ Tales From the Island”: * “Lost: On Location” breve dietro le quinte riguardante episodi singoli quali : “House of the Rising Sun” (7:19), “Confidence Man” (4:24), “All The Best Cowboys Have Daddy Issues” (4:56), “Whatever The Case May Be” (2:58), “Hearts and Minds” (6:20), “Special” (3:05) e l’episodio finale, “Exodus” (9:21). In aggiunta vedremo anche “The Trouble With Boars” (5:09), uno sguardo sulla difficile gestione degli animali durante le riprese della serie. * “On Set With Jimmy Kimmel” (7:15) il famoso Talk show notturno della ABC incontra il cast alle Hawaii. * “Backstage With Drive Shaft” (6:40) ci svelerà tra le altre curiosità come un dialogo preso dal Phil Donahue show sia diventato il testo della canzone di Charlie, You’ll Everybody. “Lost Revealed”: * “The Lost Flashbacks” due flashback della puntata “Exodus” riguardanti Claire e Sayid. * “Deleted Scenes” numerose scene tagliate riguardanti tutti i protagonisti. * “Bloopers From The Set” (4:17) errori degli attori durante le riprese. * “Live From The Museum of Television and Radio” (10:56) presenta degli spezzoni comici dell’ultimo March’s Paley Festival Q&A con Abrams e nove membri del cast.
